Digital Humanities

DigiLab has set the goal of establishing and launching a scientific section dedicated to Digital Humanities, reinstating a research area focused on automated text processing and other corpora in the humanities, in connection with national and international research networks, and in formal collaboration with the Departments of Tor Vergata, Roma Tre, and Sapienza.

In this context, DigiLab organized the 2013 TEI World Conference, funded by the Text Encoding Initiative.

It participated in a European program funded under the Marie Curie Action 2012, DiXiT – Digital Scholarly Editions Initial Training Network.
