Since its foundation, DigiLab has been committed to promoting and supporting projects and activities aimed at education and knowledge dissemination, technology and knowledge transfer, and community involvement in cultural and economic processes. The unique nature of an interdepartmental center has allowed for strong interaction with the various local contexts and productive sectors that make up the strategic asset with which DigiLab engages, in addition to fulfilling the two main missions of the university: education and research.

As part of the Third Mission, the Center focuses on the valorization of research, continuous education, and the involvement of various local actors, promoting the transmission of technical, digital, and dissemination methodologies, also serving partnerships and operational consultations in the territory for the benefit of the community.
